About Me!
Glen Martin is an Economic Consultant at Florida Commerce’s Bureau of Workforce Statistics & Economic Research, where he leads a team responding to labor market information requests and producing the long-term industry projections for Florida. He previously interned at the Florida Chamber of Commerce and spent nearly three years in the logistics industry. Glen holds a Master’s in Applied Economics from Florida State University (2025) and a Bachelor’s in Economics from California State University, Fresno (2021).
Besides economics I love reading books from fantasy authors like J. R. R. Tolkien, Lev Grossman, and Cassandra Clare; however, I also enjoy reading F. Scott Fitzgerald, Earnest Hemmingway, and Hunter S. Thompson. Click here to see a list of my favorite books in no particular order.
Other hobbies of mine are fishing, making sourdough bread, and taking photographs.
